-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Form?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF If you hold one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
You do not need to submit a claim for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payment before you file for it.
