You’re eligible for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must submit a request for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.
There’s no need to make an application for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
