You are eligible for PSLF If you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying payment on the loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payments, but you must apply for it in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
You don’t have to apply for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 payments prior to filing for it.
