The PSLF is an option that permits you to be granted loan forgiveness following 10 years’ service. To be eligible for the program, you must complete your full-time job for a reputable employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.

–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
-A non-profit or public health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to File For Will PSLF Change To 5 Years?
You can qualify to apply for PSLF when you own an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payments, but you must apply for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.
It is not necessary to submit a claim for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments before filing for it.
