The PSLF is an option that permits you to have your loan forgiven within 10 years after you have served. When do I have to File For Studentaid PSLF Application?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply before the end of the repayment period.
There’s no need to apply for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 installments before filing for it.
