When do I need to file for PSLF Loans From What Date?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and you make the required 120 payments on that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, but you must apply within the first 10 years of the repayment period.
You don’t have to fill out a form for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 payment before you file for it.
