PSLF Fannie Mae – Form PSLF PSLF form is an form which you need to fill in to participate in the Public Services Credit Forgiveness Plan. The PSLF is the program that allows you to receive your loans for free upon completion of 10 consecutive years. For you to qualify for the program, you must perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not sure whether you are an employer with a qualified status, here are some suggestions that can be considered qualifying:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Fannie Mae?
You’re eligible to apply to file for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. You could be eligible to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments. However, you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
You do not have to be a candidate for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments before filing for it.
