When do I have to File For PSLF Graduate Loans?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF for those who have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply before the end of your repayment period.
It is not necessary to submit a claim for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You can wait until having made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
