Extended Repayment Plan PSLF – PSLF form PSLF form is an form that you need to fill out in order to be eligible for the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to forgive your debts following 10 years’ service. For you to qualify for this program, you must work full-time for a qualifying employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

If you’re not sure of what constitutes an employer with a qualified status, these are the things that are eligible:

-Your government employer

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

A public health or non-profit health-care organization

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I have to file for Extended Repayment Plan PSLF?

You can qualify for PSLF if you have the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it for it within 10 years from the commencement of the repayment period.

You do not have to file for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
