The PSLF is an option that permits you to be granted loan forgiveness after 10 years of service. Before you can be considered eligible the program, you must complete your full-time job for a reputable employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you are not sure which qualifies as a qualifying employer, then here are some of the things that can be considered qualifying:

-A non-profit or public health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for PSLF Psse?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF in the event that you have a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payments. However, you must file during the first 10 years after the start of the repayment period.
You do not need to submit a claim for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 installments before filing for it.
