PSLF Waiver Timeline – It is the PSLF form is the form that you need to fill out in order to apply for the Public Service The Loan Forgiveness Programme. The PSLF is a program that allows to have your loan forgiven at the end of 10 years’ work. To be eligible for this program, you need to work full-time for a qualified employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you are not sure on what qualifies as being an employer with a qualified status, these are the items you can consider:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Waiver Timeline?
You’re eligible to apply to apply for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must apply in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
You do not need to fill out a form for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 transactions before submitting your application.
