Fedloan PSLF Employer Verification Form – PSLF form PSLF form is a form which you have to fill out in order to receive the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is the program that allows you the forgiveness of your loans at the end of 10 years’ work. To be eligible for the program, you need to be employed full-time with a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not sure regarding what qualifies as a qualifying employer, then below are some items that are eligible:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
-An un-profit or public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Fedloan PSLF Employer Verification Form?
You can qualify to file for PSLF if you have a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You could be eligible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payments, but you have to file for it for it within 10 years from the commencement of your repayment period.
You don’t have to be a candidate for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments prior to filing for it.
