PSLF Consolidate Loans – This PSLF form is the form that you need to fill out in order to participate in the Public Services the Loan Repayment Program. The PSLF is a program that allows to have your loan forgiven within 10 years after you have served. The program is available to those who qualify. the program, you need to perform full-time work for a qualifying employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re not sure about what is an eligible employer, below are some items that are eligible:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For PSLF Consolidate Loans?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF for those who have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying loans, however, you must apply prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
It’s not necessary to make an application for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing for it.
