What is the deadline to file for Employer Certification Form PSLF?

You’re eligible to apply for PSLF when you own a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You could be eligible to apply for PSLF with only 10 qualifying repayments, but you have to file for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.

There is no requirement to make an application for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 payments prior to filing for it.
