When do I need to file for PSLF Student Loan Calculator?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying loans, however, you must file for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
You don’t have to submit a claim for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing.
