PSLF Eligible Loans – PSLF form PSLF form is A form which you have to complete to get the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is an initiative that allows you to have your loans forgiven following 10 years’ service. To be eligible for this program, you need to perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re still not certain whether you are an employer that is qualified, here are some of the things that meet the criteria:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for PSLF Eligible Loans?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF only if you hold an eligible loan and have made the required 120 payments on that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying payments, but you must submit a request for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
There is no requirement to declare PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 installments before filing for it.
