The PSLF is a program that allows you to forgive your debts upon completion of 10 consecutive years. In order to be eligible the program, you must perform full-time work for a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.

You’re eligible for PSLF for those who have the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying payment on the loan. You may be eligible to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments, however you have to file for it before the end of your repayment period.
You don’t have to file for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
