Employee Verification Form PSLF – It is the PSLF form is an application form that you have to fill in to be eligible for the Public Service The Loan Forgiveness Programme. The PSLF is an initiative that allows you to have your loans forgiven upon completion of 10 consecutive years. When you are eligible to join the program, you must perform full-time work for a qualifying employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.

If you’re unsure about what qualifies as an employer with a qualified status, below are some items that meet the criteria:

-Your government employer

-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

-A non-profit or public health-care organization

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I have to file for Employee Verification Form PSLF?

You’re eligible to file for PSLF if you have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying payment, but you must file in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.

You do not have to apply for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 payment before you file for it.
