The PSLF is an opportunity for you to be granted loan forgiveness following 10 years’ service. Before you can be considered eligible this program, you need to work full-time for a qualified employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to File For How Long After Submitting PSLF Form?
You can qualify to file for PSLF when you own one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying installments, but you must submit a request for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
You don’t have to submit a claim for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments before filing for it.
