When do I need to file for PSLF Form Electronic Signature?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF in the event that you have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying loans, however, you must apply during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
It’s not necessary to fill out a form for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
