The PSLF is program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness upon completion of 10 consecutive years. -An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Form Employment Certification?
You can qualify for PSLF in the event that you have a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you have to file for it prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
You do not need to be a candidate for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payment before you file for it.
