PSLF Employer Form – This PSLF form is one form that you will need to fill out to participate in the Public Services Invoice Forgiveness. The PSLF is a program that allows to have your loans forgiven when you reach 10 years in service. When you are eligible to join the program, you must complete your full-time job for a reputable employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re uncertain of what constitutes an eligible employer, here are some suggestions that qualify:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health or non-profit health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Employer Form?
You’re eligible to apply to file for PSLF for those who have the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You could be eligible to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying repayments, but you must file for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You do not need to submit a claim for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
