PSLF Form Upload – The PSLF form is A form you must fill out to receive the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness following 10 years’ service. In order to be eligible the program, you must work full-time for an eligible employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re confused which qualifies as an employer with a qualified status, below are some items that are eligible:
-Your government employer
The organization is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
-A non-profit or public health care institution
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to File For PSLF Form Upload?
You’re eligible for PSLF If you hold an eligible loan and you make the required 120 payments on that loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying repayments, but you must file for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
You don’t have to file for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until having made 120 installments before filing for it.
