PSLF Program Form – A PSLF form is the form that you need to fill out in order to be eligible for the Public Service Invoice Forgiveness. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to receive your loans for free after 10 years of service. In order to be eligible this program, you need to work full-time for a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re uncertain of what constitutes a qualifying employer, then here are some things that are eligible:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health or non-profit health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for PSLF Program Form?
You’re eligible for PSLF only if you hold a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
You do not need to fill out a form for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 transactions before submitting your application.
