PSLF Employer Certification Form – Form PSLF PSLF form is A form which you need to complete in order to apply for the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is an opportunity for you to receive your loans for free following 10 years’ service. In order to be eligible this program, you need to complete your full-time job for a reputable employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not certain whether you are an employer that qualifies, here are some things that count:
-Your government employer
A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A non-profit, public health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for PSLF Employer Certification Form?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF for those who have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, however you must apply for it before the end of your repayment period.
It is not necessary to fill out a form for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
