When do I need to file for Employent Certificatio Form PSLF?
You can qualify for PSLF in the event that you have one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying payments on that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must file for it during the first 10 years after the start of the repayment period.
It’s not necessary to apply for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
