Clergy Receive PSLF – The PSLF form is one form which you need to fill in to participate in the Public Services Loan Forgiveness Program. The PSLF is an option that permits you to have your loan forgiven after 10 years of service. To be eligible for this program, you must work full-time for an eligible employer and make 120 on-time payments.

If you’re uncertain of what constitutes an eligible employer, here are some things which are considered to be qualifying:

-Your government employer

–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

A non-profit or public health care institution

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I need to file for Clergy Receive PSLF?

You can qualify to apply for PSLF If you hold a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying loans, however, the application must be filed before the end of the repayment period.

You don’t have to submit a claim for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments prior to filing for it.
