Consolidated Loan PSLF – PSLF form PSLF form is an application form that you need to fill in to get the Public Service the Loan Repayment Program. The PSLF is program that allows you to have your loans forgiven in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. Before you can be considered eligible the program, you need to perform full-time work for a qualifying employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re unsure on what qualifies as being a qualifying employer, then these are the things that can be considered qualifying:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For Consolidated Loan PSLF?
You can qualify to file for PSLF If you hold a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF with only 10 qualifying payment, but you must file for it within the first 10 years of the repayment period.
There’s no need to file for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments prior to filing for it.
