Does Uconn Qualify For The PSLF Program – PSLF form PSLF form is a form that you have to complete to be eligible for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows to have your loans forgiven when you reach 10 years in service. Before you can be considered eligible the program, you need to be employed full-time with a qualifying employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you’re unsure about what is an employer that is qualified, there are a few things that meet the criteria:
-Your government employer
The organization is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
-An un-profit or public health-care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for Does Uconn Qualify For The PSLF Program?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF in the event that you have the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be eligible to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments. However, you must submit a request for it at the beginning of the 10th year of the repayment period.
You do not need to be a candidate for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 transactions before submitting your application.
