Employee Certification Form PSLF – This PSLF form is one form which you have to complete to get the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is an option that permits you to receive your loans for free after 10 years of service. Before you can be considered eligible the program, you need to complete your full-time job for a reputable employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re uncertain which qualifies as an employer that is qualified, these are the items that are eligible:
-Your government employer
–A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public or non-profit health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
What is the deadline to File For Employee Certification Form PSLF?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF when you own the qualifying loan and can make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying repayments, but you must apply for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You don’t have to be a candidate for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 installments before filing for it.
