What is the deadline to file for Employment Certification Form PSLF?
You are eligible to file for PSLF in the event that you have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. You might be able to apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments, but you must file for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
There’s no need to file for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing.
