Fafsa PSLF Form – This PSLF form is a form which you need to fill out to receive the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness within 10 years after you have served. For you to qualify for this program, you need to be employed full-time with a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you are not sure about what qualifies as an eligible employer, here are some things you can consider:
-Your government employer
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public or non-profit health care institution
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For Fafsa PSLF Form?
You can qualify to file for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payments, however you must apply before the end of your repayment period.
You don’t have to fill out a form for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing for it.
