When do I need to file for Fedloan Service PSLF Specialist?
You can qualify for PSLF if you have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF with only 10 qualifying installments, but you must apply for it during the first 10 years after the start of your repayment period.
You don’t have to apply for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing for it.
