You are eligible for PSLF If you hold a qualifying loan and are able to make the required 120 payments on that loan. You may be eligible to apply for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying loans, however, the application must be filed before the end of the repayment period.
There is no requirement to be a candidate for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 installments before filing for it.
