When do I need to file for Fedloan Upload PSLF Form?
You are eligible for PSLF for those who have a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. It is possible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying installments, but you must file for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
There is no requirement to submit a claim for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 installments before filing for it.
