The PSLF is a program that allows to receive your loans for free when you reach 10 years in service. When do I need to File For Fedloans PSLF Form?
You are eligible for PSLF only if you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying repayments, but you must file prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.
There’s no need to fill out a form for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You may wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing.
