What is the deadline to file for Freddie Mac PSLF?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF only if you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You may be eligible to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying loans, however, the application must be filed for it within 10 years from the commencement of the repayment period.
You do not have to apply for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payment before you file for it.
