To be eligible for the program, you need to complete your full-time job for a reputable employer and make 120 on-time payments.

When do I need to file for Income Based Repayment Qualifying For PSLF?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You might be able to file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, but the application must be filed prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
You do not have to apply for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 installments before filing for it.
