Jarvis PSLF – PSLF form PSLF form is one form that you have to complete to be eligible for the Public Service Credit Forgiveness Plan. The PSLF is program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness when you reach 10 years in service. To be eligible for this program, you must work full-time for a qualified employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you are not sure whether you are an employer that qualifies, below are some items which are considered to be qualifying:
-Your government employer
“A” stands for 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
A public health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to file for Jarvis PSLF?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF only if you hold an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying payments. However, you must file at the beginning of the 10th year of your repayment period.
You do not have to be a candidate for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 transactions before submitting your application.
