Legal Assistant PSLF – This PSLF form is one form that you have to fill out to apply for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows to forgive your debts following 10 years’ service. In order to be eligible this program, you need to work full-time for a qualified employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re not certain which qualifies as an employer that is qualified, there are a few things you can consider:
-Your government employer
-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public or non-profit health care provider
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
What is the deadline to file for Legal Assistant PSLF?
You can qualify for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and you make 120 qualifying monthly payments on that loan. It’s possible to file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying payments, however you must apply in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
You do not need to apply for PSLF when you begin your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments prior to filing for it.
