What is the deadline to File For Loan Forgiveness For Teachers PSLF Program?
You’re eligible to file for PSLF for those who have an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able file for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying installments, but you must submit a request for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.
You do not have to be a candidate for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until after you’ve completed 120 transactions before submitting your application.
