PSLF Annual Employment Certification Form – Form PSLF PSLF form is an application form which you need to fill in to apply for the Public Service Invoice Forgiveness. The PSLF is a program that allows you to receive your loans for free in the event of 10 years’ continuous service. Before you can be considered eligible this program, you need to work full-time for an eligible employer, and you must make on-time 120 payments.
If you are not sure of what constitutes a qualifying employer, then these are the things that can be considered qualifying:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A public health or non-profit health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Annual Employment Certification Form?
You’re eligible to apply for PSLF in the event that you have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be eligible to apply for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you must file at the beginning of the 10th year of the repayment period.
It is not necessary to be a candidate for PSLF before the commencement of your loan period. You are able to wait until you’ve completed 120 payments before submitting for it.
