PSLF Apply Online – This PSLF form is A form that you need to fill out to qualify for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is an initiative that allows you to have your loan forgiven following 10 years’ service. If you want to participate in this program, you must be employed full-time with a qualifying employer and pay 120 on-time payments.
If you’re uncertain of what constitutes a qualifying employer, then these are the items which are considered to be qualifying:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
-A non-profit or public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I have to File For PSLF Apply Online?
You are eligible to file for PSLF depending on whether you’ve got one of the loans that qualifies and you’ve made 120 qualifying repayments on that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF after having made just 10 qualifying payment, but you must apply in the initial 10 years following the repayment period.
It is not necessary to file for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You can wait until having made 120 installments before filing for it.
