PSLF-approved Employer – This PSLF form is the form that you need to fill in to apply for the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness when you reach 10 years in service. Before you can be considered eligible this program, you need to perform full-time work for a qualifying employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

If you’re uncertain on what qualifies as being an employer that is qualified, there are a few things that meet the criteria:

-Your government employer

“A” stands for 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

A public health-care organization

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

What is the deadline to File For PSLF-approved Employer?

You are eligible to file for PSLF if you have an eligible loan and have made 120 qualifying payments to that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying payment, but you must submit a request for it prior to the 10 years that begin the repayment period.

There is no requirement to be a candidate for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 installments before filing for it.
