When do I need to file for PSLF Biden Plan?
You are eligible to apply for PSLF when you own a qualifying loan and make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You might be able to file for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying installments, but you must submit a request for it for it within 10 years from the commencement of your repayment period.
There’s no need to declare PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments before filing for it.
