PSLF Charter School – It is the PSLF form is an application form that you will need to fill out to qualify for the Public Service loan forgiveness program. The PSLF is a program that allows you the forgiveness of your loans following 10 years’ service. For you to qualify for the program, you must perform full-time work for a qualifying employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re uncertain whether you are an eligible employer, these are the items that qualify:
-Your government employer
• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A non-profit, public health organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
When do I need to file for PSLF Charter School?
You’re eligible for PSLF for those who have an eligible loan and have made the required 120 payments on that loan. You may be able apply for PSLF after making only 10 qualifying loans, however, you must submit a request for it during the first 10 years after the start of the repayment period.
There’s no need to make an application for PSLF in the first month of the repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments prior to filing for it.
