PSLF Criteria – PSLF form PSLF form is one form that you have to fill out in order to participate in the Public Services Loan Forgiveness Program. The PSLF is program that allows you the forgiveness of your loans at the end of 10 years’ work. If you want to participate in this program, you need to work full-time for a qualifying employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.

If you’re not sure which qualifies as an eligible employer, here are some things which are considered to be qualifying:

-Your government employer

• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation

A public health care provider

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

What is the deadline to file for PSLF Criteria?

You are eligible for PSLF If you hold a loan that is eligible and you have made the required 120 payments on that loan. You may be able to file for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments, but you must submit a request for it within the first 10 years of your repayment period.

It is not necessary to file for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payment before you file for it.
