PSLF Eligibility – PSLF form PSLF form is it’s a form you must fill in to be eligible for the Public Service the Loan Repayment Program. The PSLF is the program that allows you to be granted loan forgiveness after 10 years of service. For you to qualify for this program, you must perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and be able to make 120 timely payments.

If you are not sure about what qualifies as an employer that qualifies, below are some items that qualify:

-Your government employer

• A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

A public health or non-profit health care provider

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I need to File For PSLF Eligibility?

You are eligible for PSLF if you have a loan that is eligible and you have made the required 120 payments on that loan. It’s possible to apply for PSLF when you’ve made 10 qualifying payments, however the application must be filed before the end of your repayment period.

It is not necessary to make an application for PSLF prior to the start of your payment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payment before you file for it.
