The PSLF is an initiative that allows you to get your loans repaid at the end of 10 years’ work. For you to qualify for this program, you need to perform full-time work for a qualifying employer and pay 120 on-time payments.

-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service

When do I need to File For PSLF Employer Verification Form?

You can qualify for PSLF if you have the qualifying loan and can make the required 120 payments on that loan. It is possible to file for PSLF after you have made only 10 qualifying payments. However, you have to file for it before the end of your repayment period.

You don’t have to make an application for PSLF immediately at the time of beginning your repayment period. You will have to wait until the completion of 120 payments before filing.
