PSLF Employer Won’t Certify – Form PSLF PSLF form is it’s a form that you must fill out to receive the Public Service Grant Forgiveness program. The PSLF is an option that permits you to have your loan forgiven after 10 years of service. Before you can be considered eligible this program, you must perform your job full-time at a qualified employer and make 120 on-time payments.
If you’re confused on what qualifies as being an employer that is qualified, these are the items that are eligible:
-Your government employer
-A 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation
A non-profit, public health care organization
-An AmeriCorps or Peace Corps volunteer service
What is the deadline to File For PSLF Employer Won’t Certify?
You’re eligible for PSLF if you have a qualifying loan and are able to make 120 qualifying payments on that loan. You might be able to file for PSLF by making just 10 qualifying installments, but you have to file for it in the initial 10 years following your repayment period.
It is not necessary to be a candidate for PSLF at the beginning of your repayment period. You can wait until you’ve made 120 payments before filing for it.
